On International Democracy Day, the organization DemSport held its first-ever panel discussion at the Kosovo Assembly, featuring representatives from various institutions. The discussion focused on the importance of sport as a powerful tool for promoting democratic values and empowering communities. This event was supported by NDI, as part of the Parliamentary Transparency Forum in the Kosovo Assembly.

The event brought together representatives from sports federations, civil society organizations, and local institutions, who exchanged ideas and discussed the role of sports in social development and the opportunities to further advance it on both national and international levels.

Participants expressed particular interest in initiatives aimed at integrating democratic values through sports, emphasizing the need for close inter-institutional cooperation to create new opportunities for the growth and development of sports in the country.
